Hi Folks

Yes there's plenty more where yesterdays post came from.  I almost can't believe how many demonstrators there were myself now I am actually in the process of blogging it all !

We were really pleased to have Jean and Malcolm with us again from Crafty Individuals. These poor souls have to get up at 3:30am to catch a flight down so that they can be with us. It must be a real killer but they never ever complain, they are truly amazing and extremely generous in their support of us for which are very grateful.

Here is Jean in the Victoria Club Hall sadly we didn’t get one of the lovely Malcolm but you can just see the shoulder of his jacket, which I think might actually have been on the back of the chair so even that may not be him!

These are some of Jean's amazing work but you really need to see them in real life to fully appreciate them

We were also pleased to have Francoise Read with us, courtesy of Woodware (thank you Judith).  I can remember coming to the Craft Barn events before we purchased the shop and I always used to end up buying her stamps because I loved her samples so much.  I did all my Christmas cards with one of her Christmas tree sets one year - aah the memories of when I used to have time to craft!  This time she was using a selection of her most recent Woodware stamps.

Here are some of the wonderful projects Francoise brought with her to share and once again we have a lovely glittery board in the shop of the samples left behind for us.

Here she is chatting to customers - she's in the middle between Sue Wilson and  Carole Cann (who seems to have a bag of crisps in hand probably the only time she had anything to eat all weekend!)

and here she is at the end of a long day, funnily enough still next to Sue but this time in the pub!

Don't want you to think that we spend all our time in the pub by the way it's just we have to eat and the pub is the easiest place to go honest!

Well as we have already mentioned the lovely Sue a couple of times, might as well add a bit more here!  These  were her gorgeous samples she was working with Creative Expressions stamps which we should have on line in the next day or so, Cosmic Shimmer powders, Distress inkpads  and she had made some really great man cards.

We met Sue  for the first time at the trade show in February and she is such a delightful and unassuming person.  Here David managed to capture her in full flow!

I'm sure she won't mind us telling you that she was actually quite nervous before the extravaganza all kicked off  - amazing that someone that talented would be nervous but like I said a really lovely person.

Next up was our local celebrity Jenny Mayes from Hobby Art,  Jenny is a very patient woman because Hobby Art is based just near to where we live, we are forever popping in for an odd stamp which I'm sure must drive them crazy!

Here is Jenny hard at work

Here are some Christmas samples, but Jenny was working with her other stamps sets as well as her trusty Tombow pens, we should have some samples in the shop shortly  Jenny and Chris were also kind enough to rush the release of their new seaside stamp set for the extrwavaganza and we really want to thank them for doing that for us.

Jenny just happened to be in the shop the other day when someone rang up to buy her DVD couldn't have planned it better!  For those of you who have asked, Jenny will be coming to the Craft Barn to do some classes soon.

Up next we had the lovely Paula Pascual who was working with the Marianne D's dies and of course the Cuttlebug.

Here she is showing people how to make some of her really pretty samples

Everyone looks very engrossed don't they!
Here are some of the lovely projects she brought with her and we do have some more in the shop as well to inspire you

Got to run now, need to write the newsletter and sort out a few other things .  Will put up some more pics tomorrow.

See you soon
