At last .........Here it is !!!

Hi everyone,

You have been very patient and today I have for you
the project made especially for us by Mr Tim Holtz.

As you all know in February Sandy, Rebecca, Carol and I attended the NEC to see what new goodies would be available in the coming months.

Carol and I were lucky enough to watch some of the demos and of course Tim Holtz was proving very popular.

I couldn't resist being cheeky and asking him if he would please work his magic on a project I could bring back especially for his fans at The Craft Barn.

He was very happy to oblige and here it is in the making............

In true Tim Holtz style, take one plain tag and add the new Distress Stains in a variety of colours.
Next, add a stamp or two!!

A spritz of Perfect Pearl Mist.

There is always room for a little Distress Ink around the edges!

Distress Stains work really well on his plain tape.  Just randomly add the colours.

Next, scrunch up the tape, dry with a heat gun and knot at top of tag.

Tim took out a bag of his lovely metal embellishments and picked out some to add to our tag.

Now, here is something you will want!!!  A little gadget to make holes in his metal
embellishments.  It was so easy to use and can make two different sized holes.  He did offer it
to me to try out but unfortunately with my 'bad hand' I couldn't have a go!
With holes, the embellishments can easily be added to the tag.

He also added a metal corner and a tassel to the knotted tape.

And here is the finished piece......

Just to prove it is real!!

I know a lot of you will be inspired by this wonderful project.
The pictures really do not do it justice, so come and see it at the shop.

Thank you Tim, there's always a welcome for you at The Craft Barn!

Well sadly he won't be here at the shop this weekend but Carol Cann, Karen Maccoy and I will be. So come and see us instead!!

We will be demoing in the shop between 10.00 and 4.00 with some of the lovely new products we saw at the NEC - Distress Stains, Masks and all sorts of goodies.

Carol Cockbain is going to be taking an extra Dreamweaver Masterclass on Saturday too and if you are quick there may still be one or two places left, so phone the shop as soon as possible (01342 836398).

Well that is all for now, I shall be back on Friday with another post for you.

See you soon,

Jane
