Guest Designer Post - Poppies and Flower Circle

Hi everyone,

I said I would be back with another post from our guest designer Cheryl and here are
another two of her lovely designs.

First, is her beautiful Poppies card..........let's see how she made it!!

Cheryl made a square card blank from white card.  She then used a square piece of
script patterned paper and stamped a flourish from the
My Paper World Clear Stamps - Floral Embellishments with a Versamark ink pad.

Heat emboss with gold embossing powder.

Stick stamped square onto your card.
With  Distress Ink - Old Paper, ink around the edge of paper and card as shown in picture.
Cheryl then stamped the Crafty Individuals Poppy Stamp onto another piece of patterned
paper with black Archival ink.
Colour the poppy design with Distress Inks.

Make slits in paper and thread ribbon through as shown in picture adding beads as desired.
Attach to card at the side of flourish.

To finish decorate flourish with embelishments and or charms.

So, what do you think????

And now for our second project..........

For this lovely floral design, Cheryl used the thick card circle that is found in coffee jars or, if like me
you don't drink coffee you could use a chipboard circle!!!
Please make sure if you do use the circle from a coffee jar that it is clean and dry!!

Stamp the floral image from My Paper World Clear Stamps - Flowers and Butterflies with
black Archival ink.
Colour the flowers red then cover over with a clear embossing pen and heat emboss with clear powder.

apply colour around edge of circle.
When dry, use clear embossing pen or Versamark ink pad around edge of circle,
add gold embossing powder and heat.

To finish, cover circle with Crackle Accent and leave to dry.

So, there you are, two gorgeous projects to inspire you over the weekend.

Thank you Cheryl!!

See you soon,

Jane
