Guest Designer Post: Twisted Easel Card

Hello everyone,

What a treat we have for you today!!!!

Cheryl our Guest Designer for this month has made this beautiful Twisted Easel Card.

Here is how she made it.......

With white card make a twisted easel card blank.
Take a second piece of white card and cover it with coloured paper, this will be your card front.

Cheryl used My Paperworld Clear stamps - Flowers and Butterflies and stamped images
with black Archival ink onto ultra smooth white card.

To colour the image, Cheryl has used My Paper World Paper Soft Colour - Emerald Green
and Carmine Red.  She painted the colours directly from the pot onto the stamped image
with a paint brush.

To achieve the dimension on the roses Cheryl used My Paper World Paper Pen in
Dark Carmine Red to colour over the flowers.   Sprinkle  ultra fine iridescent glitter over while the Paper Pen is still wet.
When your coloured image is completely dry, attach it to the front of your card.

Cheryl then punched out a strip for the base of the card and attached it with sticky foam pads after adding paper to match card front.
Stamp two butterflies from the same stamp set and colour as before, attach to front as shown.

To finish, add ribbon, self adhesive gems and a sentiment of your choice.

Thanks Cheryl for this lovely card.

I'll be back later in the week with another project from Cheryl.

See you soon,

Jane
