A couple of weeks ago, we mentioned (Sandy on the newsletter, and Isabelle on the blog) that we would have guest designers from March, sooooo...
Today we'd like to welcome Cheryl, our new Guest Designer for the month of March.
We asked Cheryl, to tell us a bit more about herself:
I have been married for 28 years,have 2,children and 2 dogs.
I live in a tiny village in Norfolk, near the broads
I have been crafting for about,4 years, but only seriously for 2,which is when I first started my blog. I was asked my friend Jude who persuaded me to start blogging.
So that is how I started.
I love all types of crafting, altered art, vintage cute cuddly, and love to try my hand to anything.
So I am lucky enough to have a varied selection in my work.
I started crafting through illness, and I have never looked back, the craft barn are one of my favourite places to shop, not only for great service but the inspiration they give you, with each product you buy. No I am not saying this because I am a GD for this month I always speak from the heart!
Throughout the month of March, there will be several posts about Cheryl and her work, most of them step by step (she is spoiling us!). She will even join our DT for the Wishing Well posts :)
Here are some piccies of a beautiful altered pencil case she has made.......
Cheryl used the Eco Green Crafts acylic paints to colour one of our pencil cases and the metal flower was made from the metal products found in the shop.
Another piece we wanted to show you (this is how we "met" Cheryl actually), is a beautiful torso she made back in October. We really fell in love with this one.
She used the torso you can find in our altering section, along with the Tando Creative Cogs and the Eco Green Crafts paints.
Isn't it just beautiful ?
I'm sure you will enjoy her work and I hope you will make her feel very welcome in a comment below...
Looking forward to reading them.
Come back soon to see more samples from Cheryl.
