Isa says...........
"A little while ago, I promised I would do a tutorial on jewellery making.
Today, I would like to show you how to make some pretty black beads.
The technique I am going to show you here, allows you to give your beads a nice
metallic finsh. It is also the basis we will use for other techniques.
We will need, Pardo Polymer Clay - Onyx, a Pasta Making Machine or roller and
Using either the machine or a roller, roll out some clay.
If using a machine, make it the maximum thickness.
Apply a generous coat of paint and allow to dry.
When dried, put your clay back into the machine and keep reducing the thickness
or roll out so that clay becomes thinner and causes paint to crack!
Using cutters, cut circles into the clay.
There are different ways of making beads but today we will use an easy method!!
Take one of the balls of Pardo and roll around in your hand, warming it
and keeping a nice circular bead shape.

Place your clay circles on your bead and work in the edges with your fingers,
still keeping the shape. The join lines will disappear!! Repeat this
for each bead.
Now you need to gently make a hole in your bead and place it on a stand as shown
ready for baking. Bake using the instructions as given on the pack.
Once cooled, you will have beautiful beads, we are not going to worry about
sanding or buffing them....... we will save that for another day!!
The beads are finished and this time I will use them for a bracelet.
Experiment with sizes and shapes of beads!!
Now it is your turn!!!!"
Wow, what a stunning bracelet!!!
I definitely want to have a go at this!!
