Dear wishing well please could you do a tutorial using geso, i brought some from your wonderful shop and still dont know what to do with it
thank you for listening wishing well
Judie xx

Thank you Judie for asking this question,
you have won....

a pot of Gesso

and a Smooch Spritz Ink Mister

(Not necessarily colour shown)

Judie please contact me with your details so we can send you your prize!!

Today, fairy Poupette will start us off......
Although she is no longer with us on the DT, Poupette had already
given us some beautiful creations she had made with Gesso

Poupette says......"Take a piece of black cardstock, paint it with Gesso
and then stamp directly on card into the Gesso .

Using a piece of calico, perforated paper or magic mesh, paint Gesso over it
onto  more dark card.  When dry you can cut or punch shapes from it like the butterfly.

You can  put Gesso onto your stamp and stamp onto some more paper or card
then when dry use it to punch out shapes.
Make sure you clean your stamp well!!!

Finally, you can spray with a Smooch mister over the top.

Poupette used.......

Tim Holtz Stamps - Fairy Garden ATC
Katzelkraft Stamps - Norris and JMC - Voyage Quotes
Tim Holtz Alterations: On the Edge Die - Brackets
Distress Inks ( Peeled Paint ,Brushed Corduroy )
Smooch Spritz Ink Mister -  Gold Glow
Martha Stewart  - Butterfly

Thank you Poupette, that is beautiful.

And now for Poupette's second project......
....a lovely scrapbook page.

"Put a little Gesso in a cup and add some Alcohol Ink to make it pink.

Use some magic mesh or perforated paper, painting the gesso
through it to make your background.

You can add some more ink if you want your background to be darker.

Stamp your background with another colour.

Stamp onto the pink card using Gesso instead of ink.
Remember to clean your stamp immediately!!

Finish your project, sticking all the elements as shown.
Notice the butterflies from  Poupettes last project.!!!
(It just shows we do not waste anything)
You can also use GESSO on grungeboard too"

Poupette used ....
CI-228 - London, New York, Paris, Rome , CI-021 - Beauty
Katzelkraft Stamps - Norris and JMC - Voyage Quotes
Alcohol Inks
Distress Inks
Martha Stewart - Butterfly Punch ,

And thank you for all the beautiful projects you have made for us!

You wait until tomorrow and Part 2........
