Wish Granted: Stampbord - Day one

Hello everyone,
A new week, a new wish granted... and another line of beautiful projects waiting for you.
First of all, we would like to thank all of those who take the time to leave comments on the beautiful projects the DT makes for you. It does mean a lot to us, so THANK YOU.
So, whose wish has been granted this week?

I would love to see demo's and samples using Stampbord

Thank you for this suggestion Rose. Please get in touch with me so I can send you your £ 10 voucher ASAP.
So what is Stampbord I hear some say...
Stampbord is an art and craft surface with an ultra-smooth clay finish. It allows clean, perfect rubber stamp impressions every time. The surface will accept all types of stamping inks including dye based, alcohol and pigment and is correctable and erasable. Overall, great for all projects from jewellery to altering, magnets, cards, ATC etc..
Since the surface is made of clay, you can scratch back into your designs to create incredible details, highlights and textures using the Stampbord scratch tool.
Made a mistake? just wipe off with your StazOn cleaner and start again :)
Warning: if you dry the inks/paints you put on the Stampbord with a heat gun, please be aware that it stays HOT for a while.

To start off this week, Gio has altered a wooden crate to store her spray inks. Doesn't it look fab??
Scroll down to find out how she  made it and how she used Stampbord on this.

I took a wooden box for cherries from a greengrocer. I gessoed it, and I coloured with Barn Door Distress Ink. To have more contrast with the Stampbord I covered the sides with red acrylic paint.
I stamped every side with black StazOn.

I stamped the Stampbord with  StazOn

I coloured the edges with Barn Door Distress Ink..

For the watch: I gessoed the belt and I stencilled it with Tim Holtz mini mask and Black Soot Distress Ink.

Material used:
Black StazOn
Stamp Katzelkraft: Sandglass
Distress ink Black Soot and Barn Door

Here we are with day one,
Let Gio know how much you loved her project in a comment below,
and we will be back tomorrow with Chris' project
Here's a little teaser...

See you then
