Dry embossing: day five

Hi,
Gio's turn today using embossed fabric on her calendar this week.
Love the effect, especially with this folder and those colours. What do you think?
Here's how Gio made it....

I took a piece of white calico...

I made a knot then I soaked it with water.

I started to colour it with Fired Brick and Wild Honey Distress Stains, tightening the fabric and twisting in my hand and adding some water to blend the colours (use gloves, TH Stains do stain!).

I loosened the knot and set aside to dry. When dry, I  used gel medium all over the cardstock to glue the fabric.

I stamped the sentiment with Hot Picks 1007 plate and black StazOn.

I put the cardstock inside the Craft Concept embossing folder (Sun rays) and then in the embossing machine.

and here's the final project

Materials
Craft Concept embossing folder: Sun rays
Hot Picks 1007
Fired Brick and Wild Honey Distress Stains

See you tomorrow
