Well Michelle joined us late, did not do a calendar but isn't her project absolutely amazing?
This is the last post about her "to do box" and it's really amazing. Let us know what you think about today's post or Michelle's whole project.
Thanks for the inspiration, you are a very talented lady ;)
To make my sparkly embossing powder I mixed black embossing powder with kaleidoscope
I stamped the image onto a black card divider, using Versamark and embossed with the powder mix.
Then using a waterbrush filled with cheap bleach, I bleached out the image. Repeat the bleaching process until you are happy with the effect.
After inking the tabs with Tim Holtz Black Soot Distress inks, I defined the edge of the tab with Ebony Rub and Buff
I measured in 18mm from the LHS (left hand side) of the card and mark. Attach the tab label as before and stamp the day.
I loved the effect of the bleach and glitter so thought I would make a couple using this technique.
The rest of the index cards were made the same way as previous cards but using different colour inks and different stamps.
The Index Tabs were placed every 9mm
ie. Monday was adhered flush with the LHS of the card, Tuesday 9mm in from LHS, Wed 18mm, Thurs 27mm, Friday 36mm, Sat 45mm Sunday Flush with RHS (right hand side).
Cut scraps of paper to fit the box to write your reminders on
Now I'll never forget a DT sample or a challenge I want to take part in! LOL.
