Tim Holtz week: day 5

Hi,
Lovely and bright this ATC calendar page is. Remember that Chris' calendar is on a back of each ATC along with a magnet to put it on her fridge. Very clever... and beautiful...
What do you think?

The ATC was cut using the Tim Holtz Alterations ATC and corners die from grey board and then I cut it again from Craft Barn Stamping card. Using the carstock piece I sponged the background with Distress Inks in Scattered Straw, Rusty Hinge, Pumice Stone and Walnut Stain and spritzed with a mixture of Perfect Pearl 'Pearl' mica powder and water then dried with a heat gun. Using the tree stamp from the Tim Holtz stamp set 'Mini Holidays 2' I stamped with Versamark ink, spinkled on clear embossing powder and melted with the heat gun which gives a pretty effect and intensifies the colours under the embossing. At the bottom of the ATC I painted on some Distress crackle paint in Black Soot and when dry sponged on white Brilliance ink (this was also sponged around the edges and I outlined the crackle paint with Stickles Star Dust glitter glue. The letters were cut from white card using the Tim Holtz Alterations strip die alphabet 'typeset', sponged with Vintage Photo Distress Ink and attached with Glossy Accents. I cut a circle of card with the Sizzix originals circle die, added some Rusty Hinge ink and stamped the music stamp from the set with Walnut Stain ink, this was then glued to the ATC and I also added a layer of Glossy Accents over this and the letters. A bit of doodling again around the 'sun' with a white pen to finish off. I glued the card piece to the greyboard ATC and added the calendar page and magnet to the back.
