Stampbord and Impression Obsession: Neil

Hello,
A completely different use of the Stampbord and Impression Obsession stamps today with Neil and a very masculine mini album. He used the Impression Obsession to stamp the whole cover and the domino size Stampbord as embellishments.
Hope you like it ;)

I started out with two chipboard covers and painted them silver before using the Impression Obsession Ornate Floral stamp over the covers in black. I marked out on the back the placement for the 3 Stampbord dominoes and cut the apertures. I've used die cut tattered lace around the edges which is coloured black. The whole cover has been covered with clear UTEE.
The inside page is black card onto which I've mounted the dominoes so they fit the apertures when closed.

The Stampbord dominoes were coloured black and the Leigh Hannan image stamped in silver. A bit of extra detail was scratched into the surface and then everything sealed with a layer of embossing powder. The detail is not very clear in the photo but it looks lovely in reality!

To make the medallion I laid a curtain ring onto the stamp and poured melted UTEE from a melt pot into it. When it cools it is easy to remove from the ring and you have a lovely impression. It was coloured with metallic powders and added to the book in line with the design.

Stampbord and Impression Obsession: Jewellery

Hi,
Stampbord AND Impression Obsession this week. Two wonderful products teaming up for a an amazing display of samples.
Let's start with Stampbord. As explained on our website, Stampbord™ is an incredible art and craft surface that allows clean, perfect rubber stamp impressions every time. The surface is correctable and erasable, great for jewellery, custom boxes, magnets, altered books, ornaments, embellishments, scrapbooking & more!
Stampbord’s ultra-smooth clay finish accepts all types of stamping inks including dye based, alcohol and pigmented. The absorbency of the clay surface lets you apply color without smearing, and no matter how saturated the surface becomes, the material will never buckle.
Since the surface is made of clay, you can scratch back into your designs to create incredible details, highlights and textures. Stampbord is acid-free and archival.

I personally LOVE Stampbord. It's an amazing surface to work on and is very forgiving. It comes in packs (assorted, square, dominos etc.)

The other product we are featuring this week is Impression Obsession. I don't think I need to introduce those beautiful stamps, especially the all time favourite: the Cover-a-Card stamps. We have received some new ones recently, did you see them?
Here's a few, but you can find them all HERE

So we start the week with Isa'sArt and a beautiful jewellery piece she coloured with Aquamarkers.
As we said above, you can use all sorts or colouring medium on the Stampbord and if you make a mistake? Take it off. Either with StazOn cleaner, or is a fine sandpaper and you are good to go and start again.
Have you ever tried Stampbord? If you have not, have a go, I'm sure you will love it!
I will now let Isa tell you how she made her sample.

I started by clear embossing the text (Woodware Tag plate) I stamped in the middle of the Stampbord

I then added color with an Aquamarker and blended it with my finger. As it dries very quick sometimes we need wet fingers. It also gives you some nice marble effects

Ink up your Impression Obsession stamps with the Aquamarker and stamp above and below the text

Use the Stampbord scratchtool to remove the colour from the Stampbord to create highlights.

You just need to add a bow, and few gems and a chain and you have your jewellery piece.

Woodware for Simply Saturday

Hi,
Favourite day of the week for many of you, I know who are 100% clean and simple fans.
Gay chose the Woodware Lily stamp to make yet another beautiful card.

Although you would think that Gay mastered the masking technique once again, she did not even need to do this on this card. The Woodware stamps are clear, so easy to align to made the perfect card.

To make her card, Gay used:
