Fanciful Plantation
Hallo Everyone!
Happy Wednesday to you
and as it is Wednesday we
have a new theme. Yayyy!
Here is Angela Radford to
start us off:
Hi all. I'm here to show you what fun
I had with the Elena Zinski stamps and
Paper Artsy Infusions.
Started this Bendy card with an A3 sheet of
white card cutting it down to the size required
Here you can see how I curved the sides
but you can shape them however you like.
Score and fold, the card is ready to be decorated.
Next I stamped several of the images onto white card
and embossed these.
This is just a small selection.
Using a paint palette, place water in each well
and a small amount of infusion colour.
These are very strong colours so don't add too much.
They make brilliant watercolours.
These can be left in the palette and allowed to dry
then when the water is added they are ready for use again.
I coloured the images and then left them on one side to dry.
For the background, I stamped the images and
embossed with white powder then sprayed water
lightly over the card.
Next the infusions are sprinkled over a little at a time,
more water can be sprayed on until you achieve
the effect required.
Allow this to dry and then rub over the embossing
with a dry cloth which will make the embossing
stand out better.
Cut the background to match the card shape
and stamp the images in black and emboss.
Here you can see some of the birds
I decided to use too.
Next cut out the main image sections.
You don't need legs and branches as they
will still show when the birds bodies and
the houses are attached.
Do remember that these colours are activated
by water so if you want to be sure that the
colours stay put a spray fixative is a good idea.
I used Fresco Glaze on the eyes and clouds
for added interest.
And here we are completed,
including one of the sentiments from set 8.
I so love these stamps and I'm sure you will too.
Happy crafting, Angela x"

Super tutorial Angela, thank you.
Have to admit to complete ignorance
re the bendy card, Definitely a first
for me. Think I will go and try my hand
at one this afternoon. One? Did I say that?
Don't think so, these look as though they
might become a little addictive.............!
'Till tomorrow
