Isa'sart is with us today with a beautiful tag and a technique, which is, as she says, not new, but it's always a winner... and it's always new to a few people.
Isa used our foamies, and she said, (I quote): "I really like the one you sell because it's thick and ideal for the faux leather effect."
So here are the foamies she used:
and the stamps
It's very easy to make the faux leather effet. Simply heat the foamie with your heat tool, stamp onto the foam when it's still warm, let it cool down and cut your shape.
Then add a bit of ink, et voilĂ .
Isa's tip:
Use a sanding blog on the edges to give a more "leathery" look
Isa used the Artemio scrolls stamped on the label and embossed in gold on the tag.
To make her tag, Isa used:
Dies SIZZIX TIM HOTZ Tag
Paint: AMERICANA - Flesh tone
VERSAMARK and COSMIC SHIMMER gold embossing powder
AQUAMARKER mahogany
Don't forget...
Our special offer this week: 10% off ARTEMIO stamps
Just type ARTEMIO10
in the offer code box as you go through checkout
See you tomorrow
I'm never disappointed by Isa's projects and this is yet another beauty. Makes me want to rush out and buy foam. . . . !!
ReplyDeleteJust bought some foam yesterday, pink not brown but I will certainly try it and see what I get. Thanks once again for the tutorial Isa, stunning results as usual.
