Hi, Isa'sArt is with us today with a video (did I says spoiled yesterday?) to show you a distressing technique that looks truly amazing. And it's easy too, yet very effective. What more can you ask?
So here's your steampunk bird of the day and all the details about it!
For the distressed effect, I used Distress ink and an aquamarker pen
As for the "Distressed wire", it all started with plastic Aida.
Et voilĂ
I'm sure you will enjoy this video and technique, I know I did.

Hi, Hope you had a great weekend :) This is week is all about resist techniques. Our DT will show you different ways to create a resist on your project through lovely samples, step by steps and videos. Starting this week is Michelle who make a great video which not only shows you a resist technique on glossy card, but also gives you quite a few tips on brayering. Enjoy!!
This is Michelle's first video, and I think she did a great job, don't you?
I trimmed the brayered piece to size and cut a white mat to go under it and then stamped the chandelier on white card using the Kaleidacolor inkpad then applied TH Broken China and Peeled Paint over the stamping.
I cut out the roulette wheel with a circle nestabilities die and cut the centre of the wheel out of that. One circle was tucked behind the image and the other was mounted on sticky pads and embellished with a resist stamped flourish. I then just stamped the text on the ribbon using black versafine.
