Build it up week - Gay

Hi,
Hope you had a lovely (crafty) weekend. This week, the team is using die cuts in a different way. We challenged them to "build" something using die-cuts...
or..
to use something that comes in a kit (like the Tando kits) and work with those...
As usual, they have been very talented and inventive and I can't wait to show you what they came up with.

Let's start with Gay and a touch of C&S today.
Gay used Marianne D's Flower Border rectangle to ornate the little box she made which I personally find very cute.
What do you think?

My box is made from 12 by 12 paper, I measured the die cut and made the box so that the die cut frame would sit on all four sides.
For the top I cut out 2 of the frames and discarded the bottom edges of the die cuts to make it square like the box. The internal parts of the die cut design I inked with Distress to make them darker and finally with a white pen highlighted the daisy embossing.

See you tomorrow
