Mystical week - Karen

Second day for our Lavinia Mystical week and a lovely canvas made by Karen.
The picture does not do it justice. Once you have read the description, you will see that this sample must shine/glitter all around.
Here's the stamps Karen used.

I have decorated a small canvas board to make a hanging picture for my project.

For the background I made coloured 'waves' but using a piece of copy paper cut with a wiggly line as a guide, adding the different Kaleidacolor Inks with a sponge.
Then I added some colour through some sequin waste (Fresco Finish acrylic: Guacamole).
Taking Archival Ink in Cobalt, I stamped the Acorn House and Wings onto some card and the Wings, Fairies and 'Believe' onto tissue paper.
These were gently torn out and attached to the canvas with Multi-Medium. The Acorn House was coloured with Inktense pencils and then the house and the wings (on the card) were covered with clear glitter.
I cut out the house and wings and glued in place before adding some Treasure Gold around the edges and on the house. Some wire was attached to hang the picture by.

Karen used:
Kaleidacolor Rainbow Ink Pad - Berry Blaze
Treasure Gold - Classic
Claudine Hellmuth Studio Medium - Matte
Archival Ink - Cobalt

See you soon,

  1. Lovely Mystical Magical canvas Karen love it!

  2. Love Lavinia stamps - really good to see new ways of working with them. Love how the canvas turned out.

  3. Karen's canvas is really lovely - I do love fairy houses. You just have to be careful and not step on them when you are out in the woods.
