Hello everyone!
Lovely project today to make you smile
Here's Helen Chilton who has designed
a card using those quirky new critters
from PaperArtsy
I had a lot of fun with these stamps -
the more you look at them,
the more you see all these little details
that you can stamp on their own
to add to your card.
Make up a white card with a hinged step like this -
mine's 15x15cm (6"x6"):
Mask off the lower edge like a slope
and rub Mermaid Lagoon,
Blueprint Sketch and Evergreen Bough
over the large square panel:
Stencil in a large section of the Snowflake:
Stencil the snowy dots over the top in white paint
Stamp the two bobbles from the "Angel" along
the hill line in black
Stamp trees onto the front flap using
one of the hats
Stamp out all the images onto white card
including extra hats and bobbles
Colour with Distress ink pads and pens
Assemble as shown and
add the trees and tiny greeting
from JOFY 06
Add snowballs (the bobbles)
The angel goes in the sky with her
halo crooked - of course!
And last but not least, the
grumpy elf, who has been hit
by a snowball
There you are! Told you I had fun!
Stamps used:
Other materials:
Distress inkpads and markers: Mermaid Lagoon, Citrus Twist, Evergreen Bough, Candy Apple Red, Blueprint Sketch, Pumice Stone, Wilted Violet, Fossilized Amber
Kaisercraft 12x12 templates: Christmas Quarters, Festive Quarters
PaperArtsy Fresco paint: Snowflake
Thank you Helen
This will be a joy to make - I shall be smiling
all the way through it. Might even play some
Christmas music at the same time.........

They are all cute but my favourite (for now) is O4. I would call him Henry because he just looks like such a Happy Henry ready to jump into your arms and give you a hug.
ReplyDeletePS 07 is definitely Zelda and 01 Zoe.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun, just love those wee cuties.... Think my favourite is Zini 08. Think I will call "her" Princess Charlie xx
ReplyDeleteOh...what fun!! No3 I think should be called Pixie Pudding, looks like he has eaten too much and it made this pixie fat!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous quirky card! I love Zini 6 - such a quirky Angel or fairy and I would call her Florabelle! I don't know why, she just looks like a Florabelle to me, she is fabulous! Thank you for the chance to win, so kind! xxx
ReplyDeleteI so love these stamps, it's difficult to choose a favourite as they are all so cute. Happy crafting, Angela x
ReplyDeleteI love the angel, she looks like she is part pig with her snout, so I would like to call her 'Cookie', I'm sure she wouldn't say no to munching on one! Rachel x
ReplyDeleteLove these quirky little zini's. Great card. Number 8 looks like a Bob. Hugz
ReplyDeleteZini # 1 I'd call her Annabella (she looks like the shape A a little) and # 4 I'd call him Bouncing Bubba for sure :)
