Transfer Artist Paper week: towel

Hello :o)

Michelle has been stamping, colouring, transferring and stitching for her sample today to make this beautiful towel for the bathroom. Doesn't it look fab?
Yes, you can use TAP paper on towels too and it will be just fine in the wash.
Here's how Michelle made her sample...

I love the WC stamps from Impression Obsession so thought this was a good way of using this stamp
.

To make the guest towel I stamped the image onto the TAP paper with versafine and coloured it with TH Distress markers.
Following the instructions I then ironed the image onto some calico cloth.
The text on the image was reversed so I inked up the text bit on the stamp and transferred the image to a hard brayer by rolling the brayer on the inked stamp.
To transfer a mirror image I then rolled the brayer onto the TAP paper, ant cut out the text portion I needed. The text was then ironed onto more bits of calico.
These I positioned in the right place on the image and stitched them in place, trimming close to the stiching.
Then the whole thing was stitched onto a guest towel, ready to hang in the bathroom next time my crafty friends come for lunch!

To make the towel Michelle used
Versafine - Onyx Black
