A lovely hanging piece today, which could be a perfect Valentine's gift, or a birthday one too...
Isa'sArt has made the step by step for you today, with a few tips as well.
Let us know what you think in a comment below..
Hope you like it
Start by stamping the Vintaj piece.
Little tip from Isa to avoid smudging and inky fingers....
Place the metal on the stamp and secure it with sticky tape.
Lift it up (one side only), ink up your stamp, press the metal piece on the inked stamp and lift up the tape again
She then used a Copic marker to add a "black frame" and then added a touch of varnish
To stamp only part of your stamp, there are two different ways:
- Mask what you don't need to ink up with sticky tape, press your ink pad on the stamp, remove the sticky tape and stamp on your fabric or paper.
- Use a Copic marker to only ink the desired letters
Those inks dry fast, so you will have to be quick to stamp.
She then used her stamped fabric to make a little cushion
To add a jumpring to you cushion, just use a thick needle through the fabric several times and you can then add your charm easily.
She stamped the whole design on a piece of card she then glued on fabric before adding the Vintaj stamped piece with 3D foam
Here you are, a beautiful hanging piece, just in time for Valentine.
