Fashion week - Karen and Sylvie

Hi,
What would a fashion week be without shoes and pretty dresses? Two of our designers have been busy with those and this resulted with beautiful samples.
I fell in love with those little stamps by Katie Sue Designs when I added them on line. They are so cute and original.
Also loooove the Prima ones, which I have made sure not to show to my DD or she will want them all !! LOL.
Karen made this lovely hanging card which, I'm sure, would delight any lady out there.

I used a 4x4inch piece of mount board/chipboard and painted it with PaperArtsy Fresco Finish acrylic paint Sherbet.
One of the shoes from the stamp set was stamped with Memento ink straight onto the background and again onto white card. I also stamped one of the flowers twice and punched holes in the centre where the eyelet goes.
I coloured in the images on the card with Copic markers and cut them out.
I glue these over the stamped image on the background. I then glued the separate flowers where you are going to make holes for the ribbon to thread through.
Using Memento inks again, I stamped the dots border round the edges.
The quote is a lovely one by Marilyn Monroe!

Karen used
Katie Sue Designs - Fabulous Shoes Collection 1
Memento inks - Tuxedo Black
Copic markers - RV34, YG00, B18

Sylvie made 3 lovely and colourful tags using the Prima Doll stampsand patterned papers to dress them up.

I started by stamping the Prima Doll stamps on white card using Archival Black ink and cut them out.
I then stamped again on different patterned papers so I could "dress up the girls"
I then decorated my tags with a mix of papers, die-cuts and embellishments

Sylvie used:
My Minds Eyes Paper Pads(Memorable-notable-Remarkable)
Marianne Design die - Creatables : Leaves
Cheery Lynn Design Dies : Italian flourish doily
Distress Inks : Weathered wood, Picked Raspberry, Fired Brick, Shabby Shutters, Mowed Lawn, Peacock Feathers, Broken China, Faded Jeans, Squeezed Lemonade)
Crafty Individuals stamps : CI-383
Woodware brads : flowers

See you tomorrow
