Happy Saturday everyone,
What are you all up to today....
Christmas shopping, decorations or
nothing at all to do with Christmas?
It gets a bit mad this time of year doesn't it?
Well, Neil is here today to show you
his dressed tree.....very different
to Dawn's yesterday!
Neil says....
Take a few die cut tree shapes. Glue them
together to create a dimensional effect.
Glue the tree to the inside of the card.
(Just glue the base)
Stamp some Christmas images onto white
shrink plastic using black StazOn
and cut out. Shrink with a heat gun.
Fold back the edges of the card back on
themselves. Paint a dark piece of card
with assorted DecoArt Interference paints.
Trim and add panels to the sides as seen.
add one of the vintage Christmas embellishments
to the front and then it is time to dress
the tree. using the other embellishments.
To finish I added a suitably silly seasonal
sentiment for what is a quirky card........
I'll let you into a little secret here.....
Neil really wasn't very happy with this but
I think it's a real fun card and I love
the sentiment that has been hand
written. Makes it a bit more personal,
what do you think? We do like to hear
your comments!
Well that's another week done
and another nearer the end of 2015.
Gosh where has this tear gone?
I'll see you tomorrow for the
latest Challenge......got to get my
thinking cap on!
