Happy valentine's day everyone :) and Happy Birthday to the Craft Barn.
It's been 4 years Sandy and Ian took over. And I think they have done an amazing job with this shop, don't you?
Warning.... "Oh wow" moment coming up.... Another "why didn't I think of that?" project with this most ADORABLE little basket.... I want to sit down and have a cuppa, don't you?
Go get one... because you are going to love this one... Isas'Art has done it again....
Enjoy!
I used a recycled box, sanded the surface, tainted it with Distress Stains and added a few touches of Americana acrylic paint.
I cut a large scalloped circle with a Spellbinder die
The scallop is not only pretty but also very handy as it tells you exactly where to score, fold and cut
The final shape of the basket is entirely up to you depending on how much you fold it
I chose to use a zip to make the basket handle
Using the Crop-A-Dile, I pierced two holes at each end and attached it to the basket with a brad.
and here you are. A lovely handmade basket for your sugar cubes.
Cuppa tea anyone?
