Back today with Neil and his stunning tag. If I was a reader, I would definitely click the "oh wow" box on that one. This is sooo gorgeous and stylish me think.
Neil chose to emboss the acetate which is very effective, as well as embossing the metal. Lots of texture on here.
So wadayathink? "oh wow" or not??
I cut a tag out of white card and acetate. I made the background using distress ink and stamped the butterflies in brown ink.
I embossed the acetate using an embossing folder. To add interest I covered the acetate with white paint, wrapped tissue around an acrylic block and wiped the surface clean leaving a subtle wash of colour in the recessed areas.
I cut two butterflies and vintage lace out of silver metal and embossed the butterflies. I lightly swiped a clear embossing pad over the surface and heat embossed with cosmic shimmer bronze lustre embossing crystals to add a bit of colour.
I attached the lace to the main tag as seen and attached the butterflies to the acetate with glue dots.
I just tied the two tags together with ribbon and added a couple of baubles.
Materials list
Distress inks - Tumbled Glass, Vintage Photo and Stormy Sky
Acetate and white card
Cosmic shimmer Bronze Lustre embossing crystals
Stampers anonymous - Urban Chic
Americana Warm White acrylic paint
See you tomorrow

What a fabulous tag ............. it looks like the frosty patterns we used to get on the inside of our windows when I was a child and there was no such thing as central heating, lol!
