Hi,
Easter is getting closer and Karen is showing you a lovely project today, which would be great to make with kids too. It makes a change from the usual "egg painting".
A lot of people have Easter Trees so I have made some easy stuffed felt eggs that children can make, along with adult supervision of course!
Its a great way to use up those scraps of ribbons too!
Die-cut your egg shapes for front and backs.
Stitch on scraps of ribbon, lace or trimmings.
Add some buttons.
Leaving a gap for stuffing, sew around the edges as shown incorporating some finer ribbon into the top for a loop. Stuff, then finish off the seams...simple!

I don't have one, but two projects today for you. Gio made this beautiful handbag with the Tattered Floral flowers. Here's how she made it.
I cut out the handle off the cotton bag.
I sprayed using several Dylusions ink-sprays and a doily on one side, and Cosmic Shimmer Vintage misters: Antique Green on the other side until I got a deep green.
I folded the cotton bag in half.
I coloured some square of white muslin using Dylusions ink-sprays and then I cut them using Tim Holtz die Tattered Florals .
I glued the flowers to the outer side of the bag along with some studs. I attached a chain. I stamped the sentiment using PaperArtsy Fresco Finish paints: Snowflake and Stampers Anonymous - Tim Holtz: Just thoughts stamp.
Materials:
Sizzix/Tim Holtz die Tattered Florals
Cosmic Shimmer Vintage misters: Antique green
PaperArtsy Fresco Finish paints: Snowflake
Stampers Anonymous - Tim Holtz: Just thoughts
See you tomorrow
The eggs are so sweet and I adore the handbag! xx
