Die-cutting week - Michelle

Hello,
I did mention "unusual ways" to use your die-cuts, well here is one I'm sure you were not expecting.
Michelle used the  Sizzix Silverware die to make this original mobile for a dining-room.

Cut one branch of the frame to get it symmetric and paint it with black paint
Cut some thin cardboard (I used cereal boxes) to size for each utensil (to avoid wasting cardboard and foil), add the  stick foil on each side
Cut with your favourite die-cutting machine.
Cut the top of each utensil in old book sheet and glue to each utensil. Don't forget to add a string (fishing string is best as it's tough and does not show) between the paper and the cardboard
Cut the place card twice in black cardstock, print your favorite quote twice as well and glue them together (don't forget the fishing string here too!)
I then added beads to add a bit of weight to the project.

DecoArt Americana paint Lamp Black for the frame

See you tomorrow
