Art Journal challenge #2

Hello,
I know that many of you have asked for another Art Journal challenge, so here it is.

The theme this time is "FILLED WITH LOVE".

What we will ask is to draw/stencils/die-cut hearts and "fill" them with what you love... It can be pictures of your loved ones... your favourite colours... favourite food... favourite movies.... Anything/one you love and want to journal about should be INSIDE the hearts... The rest is up to you...
Any question, please ask in a comment below, and don't forget to come and see the answer ;)
----

Challenge is open to all countries
and will close on
Sunday 25th February

One lucky participant will win the following "love kit":

Some of the  DT members (and myself) had a play and here's what we came up with...

Gay filled her hearts with what she loves in crafts: Text and texture

Gio loves sewing, so her AJ page is all about sewing and stitches

I love drawing (that's very new), but there are things I already like to draw more than others.
Ps: I did not draw in those hearts... I scanned my drawings, photoshoped them to fit in the hearts I then printed, cut and glued on my page. My fav. animal is the tiger... probably why I enjoyed drawing that one so much.

So who's playing?

I really hope we will get lots of entries as we did last time and can't wait to see your AJs
(My 8 year old daughter Melissa is already on the starting blocks... ready to go LOL)

See you on your blogs...

  5. I've never done any art journalling before and don't have a journal - yet! so can I enter just a page? Is there anything you have to do to make this AJ as opposed to scrapbooking, I have done a page but not sure it qualifies?? Thanks BJ

  6. I have resubmitted my page and deleted my original link as I had used the general blog reference and not the specific page one. Also I have added bits to my original entry too. So inspired by AJ that I have now done my second page too......... Gosh!

  7. New to journalling (this is only the third page I have done) but I wanted to join in and play with paints and pastels. Beautiful samples. I love the different approaches everyone has to the same subject, very inspirational.

  14. Just about scraped in - spent half an hour frantically typing it up (after I'd realised it was due today not tomorrow)saving it every 5 minutes and then Blogger wiped the whole post - and did an auto save so I lost everything **SCREAM**!!
Anyway - got here in the end - some wonderful samples from both the DT and everyone entering
    xx
