Die cutting out of the box: Cutey Rickety

Hello everyone,
Hope you had a very good weekend and you got time to do a bit for crafting.
New week, new theme.... die cutting out of the box... (one of the team member nearly took that literally but then changed her mind...).
We are going to show you how to use your die-cuts in a different way. We do hope you will find some inspiration in our projects this week. There are several "oh wow" ones if you ask me. I am betting on one specifically... because that's what happened back stage, we all went "oh wow, that is so clever"...
So let's see which project this week gets the most "oh wows!"

Let's start with Gio who has been die-cutting inside the box LOL using the rickety house in such a cute way... it's adorable.. This is an "oh wow" to me.. (and my daughter)... what do you think?

Since my main thoughts lately are all about house house house (I have to move soon), and I would not to live in an rickety house, I transformed the TH house in an more delicate house :-)

I cut some little details from the house die-cut like the chimney and the porch. I painted it with Fresco Paint Guacamole and Honeystack using a wet sponge. I stamped the flowers with CI-293 and Plum Archival Ink. I distressed the edge using Plum Archival Ink and I add pieces of lace for the windows and some embossed copper metal for the door. Using the same plate I stamped the sun with Mustard seed Distress Ink and I cut it out.

For the background and the inner part of the box: I gessoed some book pages and I sprayed them with Cosmic Shimmerz Mister: Golden mint and Cosmic Shimmer Mister: Teal Wash using Tando Masks: Leaves.
I covered all the box gluing to it some gessoed book pages. For the decoration of the box lid: I put an heart die cut and I sprayed it with Cosmic Shimmer Mister: Scarlet Mist and I stamped the sentiment using Crafty Secret Artsy Alphabet and Plum Archival Ink.

I cut a flower from a piece of acetate using the Tim Holtz Alterations: Bigz Die - Tattered florals and I stamped it with green acrilic paint and and CI 209 plate. When dry I cut in half: with these I made the bushes. When I looked at the smallest flower I saw that they could turn into...a few cats, so I cut them out and I coloured them with pencils.
