Mask week: mini canvas

Hi,
How about a beatiful mixed media canvas for today?
Isa'sArt has "done it again" with a gorgeous step by step project using the Tando masks: leaves

Isa started by painting the canvas with brown paint and then glued the music paper with Decopatch glue.
She then used the Tando mask and misters to ink her canvas.

Isa then played with inks and paint as well as markers and oil pasted for the edges of the canvas and you get a lovely distress background.

She then added a few elements which resulted in this beautiful canvas.

Tip of the day:
to get matching ribbons/ fibres, you can spray them with inks or dip them directly in the bottle, which depending how long you dip it, can give you a lovely gradient effect.
Don't forget to wear gloves for this, the paint will stain your hands for a long time.

Krylon pen: gold
Frantage Embossing powder  : Aged Rose
Black oil Pastel
ultra fine Glitter: pink

See you tomorrow

  4. Though the finished product is gorgeous, the instructions are way too vague! You go from using the mask to ''Isa then played with inks and paint as well as markers and oil pasted for the edges of the canvas and you get a lovely distress background''. No explanation on how those products were used, in what order etc!
