Gifts under £5 - Karen

Hi,
Lovely girly project this week Karen made... flowers, butterfly, lots of glitter, pink.... and sweets inside.... I know one little girl in my house who would love this.

The crown box comes in a set of 3, the flower row in a set of 3 and the butterfly in a pack of 12. Initial outlay of more than £5 but individually the boxes work out under the £5. I have decorated this one for a little girl I know and filled it with sweets but you could add any little gift inside and of course use other colours! They not only have the little gift inside but also a pretty box to keep!

I have used Fresco paints throughout on this project. The colours blend so well together and work on the papier mache & chipboard like a dream! I used brilliance ink around the edges of the box and added a little bit of texture with the Impression Obsession crackle stamp. The chipboard has been covered with Crackle Accents and a light covering of DecoArt Glamour Dust.

For my calendar this week, I used Distress Inks for the background and splattered with water to give the effect of splattery rain. The wellies and the umbrella are from Dylusions Ruby Rainbow set, stamped onto coloured card and cut out. The words are computer generated.

See you tomorrow
