Hope you are all having a lovely Easter weekend (and not eating too much chocolate ;)).
This week we are going to be upcycling, which means taking any item that would most of the time end up in the bin and turn it into something beautiful arty.
From an old book or box to shampoo bottles ... or like today, starting from a metal tin, you will find out how our team has used their craft supplies to make stunning samples.
Stating with Karen today and a teeny tin that had mints in
I dabbed Butterscotch and Pink Sherbet Alcohol inks over the tin and added a scrap of lace to cover the logo. The Tando Mini Flowers were painted with Fresco Paints and then crackle glazed, adding a teensy button to the middles before they dried. These were glued to the lace along with some punched out leaves and the word 'pins' attached with a foam pad.

See you tomorrow
How lovely I particularly like upcycled things seems to give them an extra quality
