Clean and Simple - Dawn Heald

Hellooo,

Here we are again on The Craft Barn Blog, another week
and it's nearly the weekend again!

This week we are looking at Clean and Simple!
This is great when you haven't got a lot of time and
just want to make something quick and easy.
It is actually not as simple as it looks...... and it is very hard
to know exactly when to stop!!

Today we are featuring Dawn.
Dawn has been a bit poorly this week, so we
wish her well with her recovery!

Dawn says -
Clean and simple doesn't come naturally to me, there
are many a talented crafter who pulls this style off perfectly.
Me I like to get messy. So this hopefully fits the topic and
 I got messy too.

Lay the Sweet Poppy stencil onto the card blank and use
low tack tape to secure in place.Take some embossing pastes,
put them on your surface and mix any colours you want.
I added some alcohol inks
for blue and purple. Then simply apply through the stencil.
 Let dry naturally.

Use black pencil to watercolour around tree bottom.
Add some Stickles star dust glitter glue to highlight parts.
Stamp and cut out the Lavinia Cat stamp and then triple heat
emboss with black powder. Glue under the tree.

I had some paste left over so made a couple quick cards
similar ready to add the sentiment to when required.

Thank you Dawn, a lovely card and a great idea to
make several at the same time so you always have
a card when needed.

Products Dawn used -

Dreamweaver Embossing Paste - Yellow, Green, Red, Pearl
Alcohol Ink - Indigo and Purple Twilight.
Stickles Glitter Glue - Stardust, Silver, Gold
Coloured card

Ok, I'll be back tomorrow with another project!
