Homespun Wreath - Dawn Heald

Hi everyone,

Welcome to day two of our wreath week,
today it is Dawn's turn to show you what she has been up to!

Dawn says .....

I decided to try a different colour palette and the Kaisercraft
Blubelle paper pad was perfect. This pad is useful for
masculine makes too as well as pretty makes so a good
all rounder to have in your stash.

For my wreath I've made a homesy feel decorated with
flowers and a fairy. I do like my punches so gave
them a dusting off and I really enjoyed putting this together.

To make this project here's what I did -

Choosing some darker papers from the pad I cut them up
into small pieces and glued then around the polystyrene ring.

Smaller pieces are easier to shape and glue around the
ring. When dry I outlined pieces with a gold pen.

Now this did take a long while to do but it was quite therapeutic.

For the decorations I chose some lighter papers from the
same pad. Punched out flowers and butterflies, edged with
ink and made up into roses. I die cut the ivy leaves and the
fairy three times and inked the edges, then layered the fairy
adding glitter glue to make her sparkle.  Glue
 them all to the wreath.

Beautiful Dawn, thank you!
