How about a book of Hugs and Kisses for the one you love. Could be a book of tokens too... no dishes today... Sit back and relax... Total control of the remote.... lol...
Neil has made a lovely little book which will make someone smile of the 14th for sure.
Let us know what you think ...
Instead of just a card I decided this year I'd do something a little different and created a little "book of Hugs and Kisses"
I started out by making the cover using ATC's as a size guide. I cut a strip of card; scored and folded to create a "matchbook" style cover. Inked it up with Fired Brick Distress ink and stamped the background in Vintage Photo Distress ink.
I cut the Hugs and Kisses from the die and coloured with Distress ink in Vintage Photo and Fired Brick and adhered to the cover with matt multi medium.
Inside I used the ATC's to create "vouchers" I perforated the base of them so they can be removed and they were stapled together and inserted in and stuck down with double sided tape. I ran a thin strip of the tape along the front to hold the front flap in place but still leaving enough open for the cover to be closed.
I hand wrote the voucher, and used Distress Markers to colour.
Materials
Stamps - Tim Holtz, Attic Treasures and Mixed Media
Distress inks - Fired Brick and Vintage Photo
Distress Markers - Fired Brick, Dusty Concord, Peeled Paint, Crushed Olive and Stormy Sky
Double sided tape 3mm and 6mm
Black pen
