All about him - Karen

Hello everyone,
We go on with our "All about him" theme today with Karen and a lovely masculine card made with the Crafty Individuals' stamps (Fine Wine lovers). I know many men who would appreciate receiving this card, don't you think?

I have made a birthday card for someone who likes fine dining!
Stamp the IndigoBlu Bubbles Background onto the blank white card using VersaMagic Sahara Sand chalk ink. Paint some PaperArtsy Fresco (stone) onto some white card and when dry, stamp the menu from the CI-348 over the top in Archival Cobalt. Cut out.
Using the Archival ink again stamp the bottles onto white card and use the Sahara Sand to colour the labels. Clear emboss and cut out. Attach all the pieces as shown.
The greeting is computer generated.

All about him - Neil

Hello :)
A lovely masculine box with Neil today, to keep decks of cards, which is a wonderful idea.
Neil used a wooden box which he altered with Distressed/stamped card and metal
Love the texture and colours on this box, and we hope you will like it too.
Please let us know in a comment below.

I made a box for my project, perfect for keeping a couple of decks of cards inside.
I can never find cards when I need them so now I know exactly where they are!

I took a wooden box and cut card to fit the sides, I used Distress inks to colour them and added the stamping with Archival ink.

I added a decorative clasp closure to the front along with the Play ticket.

For the top I used metal sheets and alcohol ink and paint to create a riveted metal patchwork and added a few small cards that I inked and covered with UTEE.
To finish, everything was covered in Rock Candy Distress Crackle.

Material Neil used:
Alcohol Inks - Raisin, Stonewash, Ginger, Butterscotch

All about him - Gay

Hello,
These are what I call stylish cards. I absolutely love them and I hope you will too.
Gay really captured the right balance and contrast on those cards which would make a few men really happy I'm sure.

These cards required a little imagination with the face. So the image was stamped first, masked and then the backgrounds stamped. The monocle is highlighted with Diamond Glaze (Glossy Accents would work too). Sentiments can be hard to get right, mine on the Grand Father card is a mixture of two different stamp sets. Stamping onto copy paper and cutting out first is so helpful for gauging how the elements will fit onto a card and it has saved many of my cards from the bin!
The Spellbinders die was cut out of metallic paper and white card then layered and sponged with Distress ink.
