All about him - Gay

Hello,
These are what I call stylish cards. I absolutely love them and I hope you will too.
Gay really captured the right balance and contrast on those cards which would make a few men really happy I'm sure.

These cards required a little imagination with the face. So the image was stamped first, masked and then the backgrounds stamped. The monocle is highlighted with Diamond Glaze (Glossy Accents would work too). Sentiments can be hard to get right, mine on the Grand Father card is a mixture of two different stamp sets. Stamping onto copy paper and cutting out first is so helpful for gauging how the elements will fit onto a card and it has saved many of my cards from the bin!
The Spellbinders die was cut out of metallic paper and white card then layered and sponged with Distress ink.

Gay used
Tim Holtz stamps:  Way With Words and Steampunk
Hobby Art stamps Butterfly Kisses Nautical

See you tomorrow

  2. Great work! Hanging my head, but I had to read the title twice. At first glance, I thought it was all about cards for gay men! Sorry, slopping off to hide behind the sofa now in shame!
