Saturday Savers and sketch - Izzy

Hi,
Saturday Savers will be with me, Izzy this week. After all, I designed the sketch, I guess I have to use it, right?
Bought myself an Ipad before xmas, and one of those magnetic covers. As soon as I took the cover off the box, I thought that would make an ideal frame... I shall keep it..
So frame it is today, to host 3 pics of my adorable Poppy

Apple products are pricey, might as well use ALL of it, including the packaging

I chose to use the Kaisercraft paper Wisteria.
I liked the subtle background, the dragonfly, the word "unique" and the little swirls at the bottom...

So I placed my cover carefully on the paper to trace around and keep those details I liked and cut the paper to fit inside the frame

I painted my frame black using PaperArtsy Little Black Dress acrylic.
I glued the paper in place, and added some splatters with a Distress Stain

I then added my pictures using 3D foam to give extra dimension, a few accents cut from the same paper itself and 3 little circles punched of a paper inked with the same Stain as the background.
Et voilà, one simple frame made from an Ipad Cover box, 1 scrapbook paper and a bit of ink and paint.
