A lovely home décor piece today made by Sylvie for our Saturday Savers.
Once again, something very different inspired by a painting. I truly love this one. It would make a perfect gift for any sea lover friend, or someone who is lucky enough to own a house by the sea.

Sylvie recycled/upcycled
A fruit basket punnet
Shells (left over from dinner)
Tissue paper found in shoe boxes
Shells picked on the beach in Corsica
Old silver beaded necklace
Paint the shells with Pebeo Fantasy Moon paints and let them dry
Cut the Ranger Metal Foil to size (corresponding to the punnet), emboss them and colour them with alcohol inks
Stamp the seaside images on shrink plastic using Archival ink
Colour them with Promarkers (or Copic markers)
Cut them out leaving 1 mm border
Shrink them with your heat tool
Colour the tissue paper with Perfect Pearl mists and add the Tornado pattern (Andy Skinner mask) with Distress inks
Put the tissue paper in the basket to hold the shells
Apply the Vintaj Patina on the metal pendant and add some Treasure Gold
Add a coat of Vintaj Patina on two Tando Creative compasses (although the Patina is meant to be used on Metal, it still worked on chipboard), then add some Distress ink for a marble effect and then some Treasure Gold
Stamp the Crafty Individuals lady with umbrella with black Archival ink, colour and cut it.
This will be held with a toothpick
Add the big shells and the little ones, the pearls and the shrink plastic shells.
The glass bead was coloured with Vintaj Patina
Vintaj Patina inks (amethyst, marine,cobalt)
Distress ink pads: Picked Raspberry, Peacock Feathers
Distress Stains: Salty Ocean
Adirondack alcohol inks: Stream, Watermelon, Gold)
Pebeo Fantasy Moon workbox Rosewood, Turquoise, Pearl
Crafty Individuals stamps: CI- 278 and CI-272

Archival ink: Jet Black
