The Song Challenge
Happy Sunday!
This month's challenge
reflects the changing season
Autumn is upon us and the
turning leaves form a
kaleidoscope of colour
on the ground
Obviously, the song had
to be
Autumn Leaves
The falling leaves
Drift by my window.
The falling leaves of red and gold.
I see your lips,
the summer kisses,
the sunburned hands I used to hold.
Since you went away
the days grow long
And soon I'll hear old winter song
But I miss you most of all my darling
When autumn leaves start to fall
Since you went away
the days grow long
And soon I'll hear old winter song
But I miss you most of all my darling
When autumn leaves start to fall
Drift by my window.
The falling leaves of red and gold.
I see your lips,
the summer kisses,
the sunburned hands I used to hold.
Since you went away
the days grow long
And soon I'll hear old winter song
But I miss you most of all my darling
When autumn leaves start to fall
Since you went away
the days grow long
And soon I'll hear old winter song
But I miss you most of all my darling
When autumn leaves start to fall
I like this one best performed
by Eric Clapton
BUT
There have been many other
artists who have recorded this
timeless classic
So, autumn leaves it is
however you may wish to
depict them
