Phew!  What a night!

It is blowing a hooley outside and

has been since some silly time in

the night.  Storm Angus I think

they've named it

While we still have power

think I'd better get on and set

the new challenge going

On my way back from 

The Craft Barn workshop yesterday

evening I noticed that the

world is beginning to

bling up for the Festive Season

So, the new challenge is......

Bling It Up

The "It" can be whatever 

takes your fancy and I am sure

you all know what "Bling" is - 

super sparkly, shiny glitzy bits

And you can only use

purple, turquoise and green

You can enter as many times as you

Morning everyone!

I wonder when we stopped saying "good morning"

it is certainly a good one here, although the cars 

are lightly frosted over;  the sun is shining and 

everything seems peaceful.  

Particularly after last

nights fireworks, which were fantastic - love it 

when Bonfire Night falls on a weekend

No, I've not lost the plot (did you see what I did

there?) 

It is not just Sunday, it is Challenge Day and

this time the challenge is 

Poppy

the flower, that is.  

Which poppy I leave to you 

but your design must be 

monochrome with a splash of red

Happy Sunday to you all!

Anyone doing anything exciting?

Woke to a beautiful red sky this morning

so I guess the weather will provide much

excitement today in that it means I shall

stay indoors and craft the day away

Whoopee!!........

Time for the new two weekly challenge

and in the UK we are going to be

celebrating Bonfire Night 

There is even an old folk rhyme:

"Remember, remember, the 5th of November

Gunpowder, treason and plot....."

This refers to Guy Fawkes and his pals'

failed plot to blow up the Houses of Parliament

Back in the day this was probably the only reason

for letting off fireworks.  Nowadays we don't care

we let off fireworks on every occasion possible!!

Enough meandering down historical paths - time

for the challenge, which is

................sort of thing.....

to make a Perpetual Calendar.

Not sure what to expect weather wise

but it is the UK and it's Bank Holiday

so I shan't say anymore.....

Sunday is here again and how are 

we all?

Just to let you know that the blog will

be back to normal soon and 

I have to tell you that someone else will

be taking over from me.  I'm sure it 

will carry on running as it has been,

obviously with more posts again and

the Challenges will remain the same.

I just need a bit of time to crack on with 

my own projects and I'm sure you must

realise that to get the blog running

smoothly can take a fair a bit of time!

So that will be happening in a few weeks

more pesky dragonflies included in the

as to why our link is not working at the

moment.  Hopefully I will get to the 

bottom of it in the next day or so

Good Morning Campers,

How are we all?

You've probably noticed that the blog is a little 

light at the moment.  As you know Neil

has gone to pastures new and Dawn has been 

rather poorly!  She is on the mend now and

we wish her a speedy recovery!

So, we have taken this time to re-assess

the blog, look at new topics, decide

on our new way forward etc.

We will be back with you really soon but
